Are travel professionals equitably paid? Business Travel News (July 28, 2014) reported the results of its annual Travel Manager Salary & Attitude survey. A total of 248 travel professionals, 76 males and 172 females, participated in the survey. One question asked for the travel professionalâ€™s opinion on the fairness of his/her salary. Responses were classified as â€œsalary too low,â€ â€œequitable/fair,â€ or â€œpaid well.â€ The table below gives a breakdown of the responses in each category by gender.
