Start a browser (Applications > Internet > Web browser). Enter the URL: bbc.com and navigate to their site.
On the terminal window type this command:
netstat
1) Navigate through few pages of bbc.com, and keep monitoring the list of connections. What is the most often URL address that you see in the list? Is it bbc.com? Other? Using google, find out what that site is. Write a brief summary (3 – 4 sentences) about why do you think your computer has more connection to that than to the bbc?
Note that you need to filter out the local connection, and look only to the foreign ones (i.e. not on your network). That means do not submit your router as your most frequent connection.
